TRIP TO WINCO - YESTERDAY...

There were two New WinCo stores that opened this week in Utah. One in Ogden, Utah and one in Orem, Utah- however the other two WinCo stores here in Utah participated in the Grand Opening Celebration. The Midvale store and West Valley City, Store. We are all excited. We got over the weekend the AD announcing all the specials.

And i wanted to tell you about our Sweet Savings we got.

I won't be posting pictures as the items are already put away and opened but, i can tell you what we got and scan and post the reciepts.

2 Capri Sun drink packs normally $1.97 each
1 Shasta Orange 12 pack $1.98
1 Shasta- Dr. Shasta 12 pack $1.98
2 Frito Lay Original bag of chips (12 ounce bag i believe) $2.96 each
1 Bar S Bacon $3.96 each

We saved with the coupons from the AD a total of $6.98!!! our total without coupons would have been $15.83 W/Tax. We only paid with coupons and tax included only $8.08

Our Savings total with coupons was $6.00. And our total without coupons and with tax would have been $13.76. We only paid a total with tax $9.08

Subway Shirt and Prize...

A few weeks ago i wrote and told you about a Contest i won on Subway's Website where i won a Totally Free T-SHIRT!! i got it yesterday and i am so excited. Talk about sweet deal's!!!

AWESOME DEAL AT MAVERIK...

I went into Maverik yesterday to get a drink for my mom and myself and i found a Sweet Deal. They had on Sale and were offering a Promotion/Sale on Coke Products which includes Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Coke, Cherry Coke etc. you buy one for regular price which they regularly sell for $1.99 and then you get the 2nd one for $0.49

SWEET!!! so for 2- 1 liters i only paid with tax $2.59

SOME REAL SWEET DEALS...

Today while i was out and about with my mom today we scored and got auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 102px; height:in on some awesome and real sweet deals.
Let me tell you all about them. We started out at Kohl's - - We had a free coupon and certificate good for $10 off anything and everything in the entire store and since it's expiring soon we decided we wanted to get in on this good offer.

We went to Kohl's and we were looking around and my mom decides she wants to get a nice/cute frame to put a picture of the Grandkids in. We went to the area where they Picture Frame's are located. Well we get there and only to find that they are having a sale on them as well. The sale was 50 % to 55% off the original price. We found a frame that was regularly priced at $14.99 and the sale price was $7.20 + take off the $10 off coupon., So we got this nice frame for FREE!!! CHA CHING!!!

Next we went on to Walmart because we had some coupon's there we wanted to use that i believe will be expiring soon and a coupon we couldn't use because of it not being "LEGIT!" I will write about that a "little later on" or in a different post.


Anyhow we were able to purchase

2 20 ounce bottles of Lifewater and were able to use a buy one get one free coupon for that (regularly priced at $1.00 each)

1 70 sheet/count of Snuggle Exhilirtations dryer sheets - priced at $3.00 - used a $3 off coupon

and

1 11.5 ounce box (6 count) box of Toaster strudels priced at $2.00 (approx)

With tax and coupon's we paid for all of that only $5 (i could be "off") and i believe i left the reciept in the car. So when i find that i will scan and make any editing changes if i need to.


Last but surely not the least we went on to Wienerschnitzel as we recieved a coupon for signing up and Joining Wienerschnitzel's fan and facebook group. The coupon we recieved entitled us to a Free medium drink with the purchase of a Big Angus 100% Hotdog. We redeemed that coupon and so we got 2 hot dog's and a medium drink. Total price $5.16 - we definately would have paid more than that without any discounts.




I tried to cross out any and all references to account numbers, approval codes etc. I did the best i can so please do not use in anyway our account info. As i know none of you won't. This is just for the benefit of all the "Wacko's", Thieves and people who do this kind of thing.

FREE PICTURE....

I Just scored a Free 10x13 Picture and free enhancement from Picture me portraits. The portrait studio that is ran inside and by all the walmart's. I would think most of them at least.

I got this just by doing a survey of new 2010 photo designs.
Going to schedule my appointment soon!!!

SWWEEET SAVINGS AND TRIP...

I Just have to tell you about a awesome and SWWWEEEET shopping trip to Smith's today.

I have been wanting to get as well as my mom we have wanted to get in on the Quaker Sale they have going on where you get $5 off Quaker products when you purchase 5 Quaker items.
We also had a coupon for a FREEE 10 1/2 ounce bag of Sun Chips

We got our items in our cart and we went to checkout.
So we got our items and with our coupons which i may add we had the Free Sun Chips coupon, the $5 off the Quaker items and then another $3 off manufacturer coupon for the Quaker cereals and with fresh values, coupons, tax and everything. The total was approximately around $13 or $14 - take the $5 off and then an additional $3 off + the coupon for the Chips (They took off $3.79 for that), and other savings. The total we paid was only $0.91 after everything was taken off and our savings.

Carli you'd be so proud!! that is real sweet!!! i think everyone would be proud! i am proud of me. That is awesome.

SWEEET DEALS AND SAVINGS....

So today was a good day as far as saving money and scoring some sweet deals!
First off this morning i found the facebook fan page for Schmidt's Pastry and Bakery shop they have a few locations through-out the Salt Lake Valley.

One of which is located in Taylorsville, Utah - in the family center located at approx 5600 South and off of Redwood Rd. I got 2 coupons for free eclairs. So my mom and i were able to enjoy and score a free and yummy & delicious eclair.

Then later on today- Early evening we went to shop and pick up a few things at Smith's and as many of you may know and have heard Smith's right now is participating in a "Mega Deal kind of sale!" You know the one's where alot of the items or certain items in the store are included in this sale as "Participating items". This time you only had to purchase a combination of 8 of some of the participating items- which after doing so you get $4 off of the total of your whole order. We picked up some items that are included and a couple of other's. With the savings from this sale, "Fresh Values", and coupon's. We got approx $14.00 + tax for a total of $8.41

Another sweet deal and savings i scored on was in the mail today i recieved 2 coupons for a total of 2 free bottles of Vitamin Water and they were on sale- "Fresh Values!" for about $1.25 so with the free coupons i got my vitamin waters for a total of $0.17 (Had to pay "Uncle Sam!" - TAX!)

Almost Forgot... We had 2 manufacturers coupons for $3 off of one (Either Snuggle Liquid Fabric softner or Snuggle Dryer Sheets) Family Dollar had them priced at $3 so with the $3 off coupon we ended up paying total sales tax of $0.42 for 2 bottles of Snuggle Fabric Softner.

MORE SHOPPING ADVENTURES...

So here it is for this past week. My adventures of saving money and scoring "SWEEET!" deals

The night before last night i would say on Tuesday night i scored a free rental from Redbox! I just love Redbox. So i had my promo code and i was able to rent Michael Jackson's "This is it!" I love that movie. Please look for a post about my review of that movie on my personal blog.

Monday- I went shopping with my mom and we were out at Jordan Landing and we had some coupons to use.

We got 2 quarts of the nesquick flavored milks $2 each and we had 2 coupons for $1 off each, We got a free bottle of Excedrin (Had a free coupon), 2 outfits for my nephew Dakota they were on clearance for like $2 each, and some other items. In any case we got $14 of stuff for $8.68 * Carli you would be so proud!!!

Whoops i knew i forgot something~!
I got my Staples Rewards Check for the month of January the other day as we recycle our old ink cartridges so i recycled 2 and i get $3 for everyone i recycle. So this time i had a $6 check. Today i went into Staples and Scored a package of 200 "GOLD" paper clips, 2 packs of highlighters, and a pack of markers. They were on sale for $2 each so i got $6 of stuff ABSOLUTELY FREE!!! Not to bad!!!

Economy Busters/Night with Grocery Guru Ken Rosebery @ Media One/NAC (News Paper Agency bldg) Tonight...

Once a month down here in Utah and throughout the whole state "Grocery Guru" Ken Rosebury gives free seminar's and classes on how to save up to 70% on your grocery's and clothing etc. by using coupons and shopping sales. That was tonight. The classes are held at the Media One/NAC bldg (where the Deseret morning news and Salt Lake Tribune is printed, circulated and everything). Anyhow i always love going to his classes- they are always fun- you learn so much, have a chance to win door prizes, get to visit other vendors such as Scentsy wickless candles, Tupperware, Avon, etc. And at the end you get free Fat Boy ice cream. The classes are great and each time selected members of the audience as he is giving his presentation get's free grocery items. His program really works and i could go on and on about it but, you just have to experience a class to know what i am talking about.
